To be considered for appointment as a Residential Care Worker, applicants must have a Certificate III and/or Certificate IV in Community Services (Protective/Residential Care) or approved equivalent, or have significant, equivalent experience in working with or caring for children and young people who have experienced trauma.

Senior Managers are Specified Callings employees, meaning that applicants must have specific qualifications in the area of social work, psychology or other relevant human services. The Department uses its Qualifications Assessment Framework to assess whether each qualification meet the Department’s requirements.
