Residential Care Workers are able to progress their career through applying for a position as a Senior Residential Care Worker, a Secure Care Officer, or a Senior Secure Care Officer. Employees who wish to progress to leadership roles are encouraged to study a qualification that will meet the requirements for Specified Calling. 

Senior Managers in Residential Care may consider applying for positions within the wider department and or higher level leadership positions, such as the Assistant Director, or Director, in Residential Care.
